On a comfortable bus you will pass through the historical centre of the city and get acquainted with the main places of interest. You will see the majestic building of the Stock Exchange and the Rostral columns, forming an ensemble on the spit of the Vasilyevsky Island, get acquainted with the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty and the Engineer Castle. You will follow down theNevsky prospect, the main thoroughfare of the city. You will be admiring with the Winter Palace, the former residence of the Russian tsars and the General Staff building. On your way there will be the monument to Peter the Great, "the Bronze Horseman”, St. Isaac's and Kazan cathedrals. Cut by a network of small rivers and canals, the city will impress you with its magnificence during the boat cruise. By number of rivers and canals St. Petersburg ranks first in Russia, and has one of the first places in the world. Our excursion will take place along the main waterways: the Never River, Fontanka, Moika River. Along these waterways there are a lot of palaces and the major attractions of the northern capital, many of which are the official symbols of the city like St .Isaac's Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, the Saviour-on-the-Blood Cathedral, the Winter Palace and others. There are about 500 bridges (315 in the city centre,21 of them are drawbridges). This many more than in other cities famous for their bridges such as Venice and Stockholm. You will be passing underneath some of them during the boat ride. During the tour you can visit the Museum of Russian vodka, it’s the first in Russia and in the world whose museum exposition acquaints visitors with the drink which has become an integral and obligatory attribute of the most important events of our life. Listening to an exciting excursion guests can learn about the history of the drink and about Russian drinking traditions.
